About Cara
Hey, I’m Cara.
I’m a speech-language pathologist and the owner of Buckeye Speech & Communication, LLC.
I started this practice with a simple belief: communication is within reach for everyone. That belief shapes how I approach therapy, AAC support, caregiver coaching, and the relationships I build with families.
Play-based, interactive, and built around real communication.
My work focuses on functional, real-life communication that carries beyond the therapy session. I take a neuroaffirming, individualized approach because no two clients communicate, learn, or connect in exactly the same way.
I value connection, curiosity, and meeting people where they are. My goal is for clients and families to leave each session feeling supported, understood, and heard every step of the way.
